BisMan Community Foundation’s Community Impact Awards recognize the outstanding contributions of philanthropists and volunteers in our community.
We invite anyone to nominate an individual or a couple for one of our three Community Impact Awards. Here are the guidelines:
No self-nominations
A nominee’s contributions must be to the Bismarck-Mandan community.
Nominations are due by August 15.
Awards will be presented on October 8, 2024 during the BisMan Community Foundation Impact Awards celebration. Contact us with any questions.
Community Commitment Award
The Community Commitment Award recognizes an individual, couple, or family with a record of exceptional generosity and outstanding civic or charitable responsibility. The ideal nominee for this award not only provides significant financial support to nonprofit organizations and community projects, but also fosters a culture of active engagement with the nonprofit sector. This may include serving as a board member or fundraising campaign chair, volunteering time and services, or creating their own successful community event or nonprofit program.

Young Changemaker Award
The Young Changemaker Award recognizes service by an individual up to age 20 who demonstrates outstanding commitment to the community and a passion for making a difference through financial support to nonprofit organizations or community projects, volunteerism, or leadership in philanthropy.

Volunteer Impact Award
The Volunteer Impact Award recognizes an individual or couple who contributes significant time and talent to advance a charitable cause or meet a societal need. This award includes a $500 donation to the recipient’s charity of choice.
